Aadhirai School of Dance has been training students to face the professional stage every year as part of their Annual Day celebration. This gives the kids and their students a sneek peek into what it takes to present their learnings in front of an audience. We also train students who have completed the basic set of adavus to perform a one hour recital as Shalangai Pooja to improve their stamina. We have succesfully trained students for Arangetrams, a three hour solo recital with live orchestra. Intermediate and Senior batch students will be given an oppurtunity to dance for temple functions and Dance festivals.

Aadhirai School initated on Feb 4,2023 celebrated its Annual day on Feb 23,2024 along with Swaramrutha School of Music,headed by Mrs.Sangeetha Hariharn at Nayana Auditorium. The showcase included a Shloka mala,Pushpanjali,Alarippu,Kauthuvam,Ardanareshwarar Stuti and Skit depicting Gnyana pazham episode and Valli Marriage.

Inauguration of Aadhirai Studio and Shalangai Pooja of Rishitha A and Aadhya Hariharan
Aadhirai studio built exclusivly for sudents of Aadhirai School of Dance was inaugurated with the Shalangai Pooja of Rishitha A and Aadhya Hariharan,The students of Aadhirai including kids and adults performed as a celebration of this sacred space.

Arangetram of Smt.Vidya Nair
Aadhirai School of Dance performed the First Arangetram of Mrs.Vidya Vipul Nair,who had been trained in the art form for 20+ years and had re located to Bangalore and resumed her passion for dance under Mrs.Kokila Muniaswamy.
The event was wonderfully supported by eminent musicians : Vidwan Sri.Balasubramania Sharma(Vocalist),Vidwan Sri G.S.Nagaraj(Mridanganist),Vidwan Sri.Nitish K(Fluitist) ,Vidwan Sri Arjun M.D(Violinist) at Bharatratna Pandit Bhimsen Joshi Kalamandir,Pune.

Shalangai Pooja of Dheera ShriRam

Passion,effort and support from her parents made Dheera achieve this milestone on September 7,2025. An one hour recital including
Pushpanjali,Alarippu,Kauthuvam,Jathiswaram, a kriti and Kavadi Chindu. Learning this art form in online mode from the beginning,10 year old Dheera was able to pull this off with her interest and practice.
